Archeology for Children
The ‘Childish Archeology’ project for teaching archeology to children in a fun way has been completed.
Seferihisar Municipality and IDA (Human, Nature and Archeology) together organized an archeology workshop for children by expert archeologist Mustafa Akcaoz. For ten days, the children between 7-14 ages were provided information on human history and joined exercises on life in caves, first settlements, agriculture, antique scripts, excavation, first cities and ceramics.
The workshop was made between September 6-15 and ended with a mini excavation, where 40 children found the opportunity to practice the lessons they learned during the workshop.
