Seferihisar Children Municipality and Izmir Down Syndrome Association collaborated in an event on introducing the rural life to the children.

The event was organized in Ulamis village with the attendance of 25 children and Seferihisar Children Municipality members, where the children harvested fresh mandarins from the groves. After the harvest, the children visited the Ulamis Children Atelier to join the dance and game workshops organized for them.

Levent Sesen, Seferihisar Children Municipality Manager commented such as: “These trainings are very important for children with Down syndrome, because they can be integrated to daily life upon care and special education. We shall include them into activities at home, school and social life from their early age. That’s also the purpose of this gathering between the children in Ulamis village and the children suffering from Down syndrome. They worked together in workshops.”
