Mayor Soyer at the Mother’s Day

Seferihisar Mayor Tunç Soyer visited a elderly caring home at the Mother’s Day.

Mayor Soyer visited the caring home with 30 volunteers from Turkish Red Cross Izmir Branch in the scope of AB Erasmus’ “Youth Employment Development Project”. The volunteers between the age of 18-27 also gave a mini concert as Tunç Soyer presented flowers to the elderly.

“The Mother’s Day is a very particular day.” commented Mayor Soyer. “We intended to cheer the elderly patients up in this facility and ease their suffering due to solitude. I hearby want to thank the Red Cross volunteers. The Mother’s Day is a good opportunity to show our appreciation and gratitude to our gracious mothers and all women.
