The designs created by Yasar University Industrial Designing Faculty students as graduation project in 2016 has been introduced into public service by Seferihisar Municipality. The municipality produced prototypes of Mobile Cupboard – Kiosk and Mobile Cupboard – Garment Donation for the public service for clothing donation and delivery among the needed.

Another project on recycling had been introduced at the 6th Seferihisar Resident Reunion. The project executed by Yasar University Industrial Design Department Head Assistant Lecturer Dr. Mine Ovacik and Associates Ece Gucer and Can Guvenir produced into prototypes and were introduced to the public. Seferihisar Mayor Tunc Soyer said that this new recycling&donation project initiated with Yasar University will help to reach more people in need.
Mobile Cupboard – Garment Donation Unit realized by Burcu Gurgit involves a garment recycling process. The donated clothes will be picked up by the ‘Mobile Cupboard’, separated as mens, womens and childrens garments. The clothes then delivered to women producers, who would do the cleaning, ironing and patching. The recycled clothes will be delivered to Seferibus, which will serve as the clothing distribution center for the people in need.
