The fellow countrymen associations and Seferihisar residents of different origins will unite for a series gathering events during 16-21 September. The gathering will be organized in Seferihisar covered market place with each association hosting the event for one night.
The gathering will start on Saturday 16th September. The host of the first night will be Ahiska and Caucasian Turks. The visitors will be able to taste local food and enjoy live local music.
The gathering will continue with the following events:
September 17th Sunday – Afyonkarahisar Region
September 18th Monday – East and Southeastern Anatolia
September 19th Tuesday – Black Sea Region
September 20th Wednesday – Tokat Region
September 21st Thursday – Yozgat Region
During the gathering, the stands of fellow countrymen associations will be open everyday from 16:00 on and the concerts will start at 20:00.
Seferihisar Mayor Tunc Soyer stated that it is the sixth year of the event: “We peacefully live in Seferihisar regardless of our origins or ethnicity. We all consider ourselves as Seferihisar residents. We would like a create an example for Turkey of how to live in peace. I would like to invite all Seferihisar residents to this 6 days gathering.”
