Seftit Staged in Germany
Seferihisar Municipality theatre company SEFTİT staged their play “Kız Çocuk” (The Girl) in Berlin’s suburb Neufahrn on October 27th, 2018. The play was written and directed by Seferihisar Municipal Theatre director Vedat Murat Güzel.
SEFTİT’s cast consists of amateur actors living in Seferihisar. The company has staged many plays all around Turkey, but it was their first staging abroad upon the invitation from Berlin.
Seferihisar Mayor Tunç Soyer said he was very proud of the success of the theatre company, which was founded only five years ago by women living in the nearby villages.
The documentary movie on Ulamış Village Theatre will be screened among the formal selection of İzmir International Short Film Festival.
