The results of the photo contest “My Forever Friend” has been announced. The contest was organized by the collaboration of Seferihisar Municipality, Seferihisar City Council and SEHAYDER (Seferihisar Association of Nature and Animal Lovers).
The photo contest under the supervision of Turkey Federation of Photographic Art (TSFS) has been popular among the photographers as 640 photographers joined the competition with 2070 photos. The jury included Nezaket Tekin from Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Faculty Photography Section, Selvinaz Aydoğan for Aydoğan Colour, Murat Kaptan for İFOD and Metin Aras as representative of TSFS.
The results of the competition were announced at the Forever Friend Festival in Sığacık. Oğuz İpçi from Aydın was been selected the winner with his photo titled ‘compassion’. Musa Talaşlı (Van) became the second with ‘animal care’ and Ahmet Mücen (İstanbul) became the third with ‘Buddy’. The awards of the competition were in consecutive order: TFSF gold medal and 1500 TL, TFSF silver medal and 1000 TL, TFSF bronze medal and 750 TL.
Nine contestants were deemed worthy for the honorary mansions with a prize of 250 TL: Hakan Yaralı, Süleyman Hülker, Kayhan Güç, Alper Tüydeş, Emre Akıllı, Gürkan Öztürk, Nazmi Çaykara, Emel Oğuz Atasoy and Emrah Yorulmaz.
