Teos Writers’ House Research and Implementation Center organized the first event of the year.
On Saturday January 13th, the first day of the urban seminars hosted the following presentations from Izmir Solidarity Academy: Dilek Karabulut on “The Urban Right and Urban Contest”, Ayşen Uysal on “The Art of Politics on the Streets”, Melda Yaman on “City Woman Labour” and Melek Göregenli on “Urban Participation and Pluralism”.
On Sunday, the second day of the seminars will continue at the same venue with the following program: Ulaş Bayraktar from Kültürhane on “The Imagination of the City as Shared”, Canan Kaygusuz from Izmir Solidarity Academy on “The City and Alienation”, Nihat Koçyiğit on “The Languages Transferred Between Cities” and Esra Dabağcı from Ankara Solidarity Academy on “How do the Cities Remember/Forget”.
Seferihisar Mayor Tunç Soyer also attended the seminar. Mr.Soyer thanked all the speakers for their contribution and invited everyone to attend these free and public events at the Teos Writers’ House.
