Hasankeyf’s Application for Cittaslow In Evaluation

Cittaslow Turkey Coordinator Tunc Soyer visited Hasankeyf to evaluate its Cittaslow application.

After the visit, Mr.Soyer uttered his comments: “We have been to Hasankeyf in the city of Batman and witnessed the unique nature and history, which will partly be flooded by the new dam. We toured the new settlement of Hasankeyf. We made brainstorming on how to preserve the historical and cultural heritage of the district by the Cittaslow criteria in the new district and to use the weak points as advantages.
