Kemal Kilicdaroglu, The President of Republican People’s Party (CHP), visited the Inspirational Writers Center of Seferihisar Municipality. Kilicdaroglu informed that the center, which will provide inspiration also to the next generations, would be named after the famous writer Atilla Ilhan.
The Center constructed on the land allocated by Seferihisar Municipality and built by 19 Mayıs University, was endorsed fully to the Municipality. The four suite rooms at the second floor of the facility will be allocated for the accommodation of the writers.
Seferihisar Mayor Tunc Soyer making a speech on the facility commented that the greatest value of today’s world is creativity. He added: "The Inspirational Writers Center is founded in Teos, where the Actor’s Guild was founded 2500 years ago. We also host the Turkey Art Gathering at the same time. Turkey is in a critical political condition, under Emergency Rule. This is exactly the time we need art. We are very lucky, since Our President was aware of such need and drove 400 km’s from Canakkale. I hope that the Center will be a place for artists and writers to gather and create. "
