Vodafone 38th Istanbul Marathon with the motto "We run for the martyrs of 15th July” was run in Istanbul. In the mens category the winner was Evans Kıplagat from Azerbaijan, in womens Agnes Barsosio from Kenya.
Seferihisar Mayor Tunc Soyer and the famous director Çağan Irmak run in the name of TEMA (Turkey’s Struggle Against Soil Erosion) for "Brotherhood of the Trees” among the 520 TEMA respresentatives from all over Turkey.
Mayor Soyer thanked Deniz Ataç and the TEMA members for the excellent organization.
