The Chamber of Mapping and Cadastral Engineers (HKMO) gathered in the 16th Summer Educational Camp organized in Seferihisar, Izmir.
The HKMO summer camp participants met writers, poets, artists and politicians from all over Turkey. Seferihisar Mayor Tunc Soyer and Tunceli’s ‘Communist’ Mayor Fatih Mehmet Macoglu also joined the event.
Seferihisar Mayor made a presentation on values with the subject ‘Slow City Seferihisar’ and had an hour conversation with the participants.
Tunceli Mayor Fatih Mehmet Maçoğlu, as known as ‘Communist Mayor’ on media, also made a presentation on ‘Creating Awareness on Local Level’ referring his victory at the local elections thanks to his collaboration with opposition parties in Tunceli. He stated there is no other chance but insist on socialism.
Mr.Aziz Kocaoglu, The Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality is expected to take part in the camp on Sunday for an interview on urban values and city management.
