Seferihisar Municipaliy started a program for establishing meeting sessions between the applicants and the employers. The new program provided employment opportunities for 60 young people.
The applicants are required to leave their CV’s to the Municipality, whereas The Municipality arranges meetings between the company’s responsibles in need for work force and the job applicants.
Seferihisar Mayor Tunç Soyer commented upon the success of the program: "Our vision is Seferihisar with zero unemployment rate. We are taking necessary measures so that the young people mustn’t leave our town for employment opportunities. We do our best to increase their options. 141 people were certified to found their own companies due to six courses we initiated with KOSGEB, we loaned them non-refundable credits of 50.000 TL plus 50.000 TL no-interest credit with a payback of two years. We will arrange three new courses with KOSGEB. The days of where the Municipality was the only employment facility is over. I think that more and more people will be joining the work force in the coming days. "
