Seferihisar Municipality, Seferihisar Life Without Disabilites and Environmental and Private Can Arkadas Education and Rehabilitation Center initiated together a project for disabled. The contruction of the educational and social campus for disabled commenced on Wednesday 26th July.
The campus for disabled will be located next to the Necat Hepkon State Hospital and include 21 classrooms and 4 ateliers on vocational training, cooking, art and music to provide the disabled people opportunities for finding jobs and socializing. The campus will also host facilities for sports and hippotherapy (horse therapy).
The campus is planned to be finalized in 6 months.
