Seferihisar Municipality participated in the Child and the City conference in Vienna as the founder of the first Children Municipality.
The Child and the City Foundation conducts activities on children rights and their global implementation and organizes the biannual Child and the City conference. The 9th conference has been held in Vienna, the capital of Austria between September 24-26, 2018. During the conference, city representatives and academia from all over the world presented their child-friendly projects.
Seferihisar Mayor Tunç Soyer and Child Mayor Selin Ada had the opportunity to examine the global examples and join workshops on child-friendly planning, equal access, child-friendly future, participatory education, media writing, social-media usage, participatory city planning, competition on streets and planning of media projects.
