Initial procedures for the foundation of Seferihisar’s new hospital has been completed. The plot designated as the construction area has been proposed to Izmir Metropolitan Municipality for the approval. The new hospital is planned to be located in Düzce neighborhood on the road between Izmir and Seferihisar.
The buildings of the operational hospital have been constructed by the philanthropist businessman Necat Hepkon in 1998 and the hospital was opened in 2000. In the elapsed time, the hospital’s capacity and technical equipment started to fail in meeting the demands of the increasing population.
The New Hospital will be in Düzce
Seferihisar Municipality offered a 38 acres plot for the hospital facilities thanks to their quick action by redesigning the municipal zoning plans. After the approval of Seferihisar, the new zoning plan must be confirmed by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality to be allocated for use of the Ministry of Health.
