International Rotary 2440. Region Culture and Art Committee organized an event to for the Women’s Day at Izmir Metropolitan Municipality’s Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center (AASSM). At the special event only ben were on stage to read poems on women.
Seferihisar Mayor Tunç Soyer joined the event with his wife Neptün Soyer and read Nazım Hikmet’s poem "How merry it is to remember you’.
İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu, Karşıyaka Mayor Hüseyin Mutlu Akpınar, İzmir Chamber of Trade President Ekrem Demirtaş, İzmir Chamber of Craftsmen and Artists President Zekeriya Mutlu, TV anchorman Aziz Üstel, Presidential Symphony Orchestra Conductor Rengim Gökmen, Rotary 2440. Region Federation Seasonal Head Lütfi Demir, socialite and lawyer Ulvi Puğ, National Library Manager and writer Yaşar Ürük and İTO Assembly Head Rebii Akdurak read poems on women.
The guests on the stage were presented portraits of Reyhan Özlen’s photography exhibition.
